Westerson, Jeri
Born and bred on the mean streets of Los Angeles, inhaling smog and enduring earthquakes. Newspaper reporter, would-be actress, graphic artist; these are the things she spent her time on before becoming a novelist. She created the newest hard-boiled detective, Crispin Guest; disgraced knight turned PI, solving crimes on the mean streets of fourteenth century London. Westerson is on the board of directors for the southern California chapter of Mystery Writers of America, is a member of both Sisters in Crime Los Angeles and Orange County chapters, and is a member of Private Eye Writers of America. She is married to a commercial photographer, has a son in college, and herds two cats, a tortoise, and the occasional tarantula at her home in southern California.
Wishart, David.
David Wishart was born in Arbroath, Scotland. He studied Classics - Latin and Greek - at Edinburgh University and after graduation taught for four years in a secondary school. He then retrained as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language and worked abroad for eleven years, in Kuwait, Greece and Saudi Arabia. He returned to Scotland in 1990 and now lives with his family in Carnoustie, mixing writing with teaching EFL and study skills at Dundee University. He is married to Rona Wishart, librarian at St Leonards School in St Andrews, and has two children. He does not play golf but spends a great deal of his non-writing time walking the dog.
